chorca f. Hond. Ave de las Estrigiformes, de tamaño mediano, con patas totalmente emplumadas y dedos hirsutos, y plumaje color café grisáceo por encima, con listas negras a lo largo de los raquis de las plumas. Es nativa desde el sudoeste de México hasta Costa Rica.
